2nd thru 6th Flag Football

We are excited to get our 2nd-6th grade flag football league starting on Sunday, August 4th. 

Purpose:  To provide a FUN atmosphere for kids to play flag football and enjoy their teammates, coaches, and the game of football.  

Schedule: The entire league schedule for practices and games are on Sundays and Wednesdays.  Sunday times will be 11:30-1 pm @ Wakefield Stadium & the grass field behind the high school.  Wednesday times will be 6-7:30 @ Watson Field (behind old Watson - please park at new Watson)

  • Pre-Season Schedule
    • Sunday, August 4th: Whole Group Practice @ Wakefield Stadium 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
    • Wednesday, August 7th: Whole Group Practice @ Watson Elementary 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
    • Sunday, August 11th: Teams Formed (No Games/Practice) *Your coach will reach out to you before Wednesday 8/14/24.
    • Wednesday, August 14th: Practice @ Watson Elementary 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
    • Sunday, August 18th: Practice @ Wakefield Stadium 11:30 PM - 1:00 PM
    • Wednesday, August 21st: Practice @ Watson Elementary 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Regular Season
    • All Games are Sunday @ Wakefield Stadium/Grass Field 11:30AM
      • Games begin on August 25th
      • No Games on September 1st (Labor Day Weekend)
    • All Practices are Wednesday @ Watson Elementary 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
      • Parking for practices available at the new Watson Elementary (please do not park on neighborhood streets.)
  • End-of-Season Tournament
    • Wednesday, October 16th: First Round @ Wellness Center Field. Times are TBD.
    • Sunday, October 20th: Final Round @ Wakefield Stadium. Times are TBD.

Uniform & Equipment:  Players will get a game jersey. Mouthpieces must be worn at all practices and games. Players must bring their own water bottles to practices and games!  Cleats are encouraged but not required. Flags are provided.
